Poetry In Pictures: 'Under The Greenwood Tree'...

Under the Greenwood Tree

Under the greenwood tree
Who loves to lie with me,
And turn his merry note
Unto the sweet bird's throat,
Come hither, come hither, come hither:
Here shall he see
No enemy
But winter and rough weather.

Who doth ambition shun,
And loves to live i' the sun,
Seeking the food he eats,
And pleas'd with what he gets,
Come hither, come hither, come hither:
Here shall he see
No enemy
But winter and rough weather.
William Shakespeare

I love this, very much.

ALSO I NEED TO TELL YOU SOMETHING FANTASTIC.

So I was just in Katoomba for the weekend. At womens convention. AND YOU SPOKE! But I've only JUST put two and two together and realised this was your blog - you mentioned it when you were interviewed and being the fellow blogger I am, I became interested ... and then realised we had already had contact before!

I was ridiculously excited, as you may have noted.

Anyway - thank you for this weekend - it was very encouraging to hear you speak so faithfully from God's word. You had me in tears at one point yesterday. So thankful that God used you to bless so many.

Bek xo.
